enorê (b. rio de janeiro) is a london-based artist and somerset house studios resident. their thinking revolves around the fluidity of digital media into physicality and back,and how this relates to ways in which the body processes information. they use 3D scans and digital data to establish links between physical and digital realms, and bring into physical existence elements which can normally only be mediated through digital technology.

path-traced fog @ somers gallery



Path-Traced Fog is an exhibition in the form of an ambiguous work/play space where digital life reproduces itself. Evoking the different logics of games - the reactiveness of the world surrounding the player, mixed processes of discovery and construction, systems of reward and value capture, constrained avatars - the installation takes shape as a space where people create and consume at the same time, or find it difficult to draw a clear boundary between the two. Sleeping, making games, eating, viewing content, generating new forms and inhabiting old ones.
